A business lawyer with over 30 years of experience in private practice in the Province of British Columbia, Christopher Green is Senior Partner and Chief Visionary, who coined a Simpler Approach to the Law.
A graduate of Queen’s University at Kingston, and Osgoode Hall Law School, Chris has a wide and varied professional experience, having acted as criminal defence counsel, crown counsel, counsel for the Insurance Corporation of BC, and as a barrister before every level of court in the Province.
Much of his current practice is devoted to providing advice to small businesses. He is a member of the Canadian Bar Association, the BC Trial Lawyers Association and The Association of Trial Lawyers of America. Chris is also a regular participant in continuing legal education programmes, and lectures in business law to the Surrey Employment and Entrepreneurial Development Programme, the Entrepreneur Apprenticeship Programme and the Youth Entrepreneurship Programme.
He is the Past President of the Port Moody Foundation, and is a former Parks Commissioner for the City of Port Moody.
In his spare time Chris has been know to to run the odd marathon for good causes. He’s travelled the world to help raise millions of dollars for The Canadian Diabetes Association so be warned: you might just be tempted to let him get his hands on your wallet.
Janice was called to the Alberta Bar in 1988 and a move westwards added another bar to her name. Since 2012 she has also been a proud member of the Law Society of British Columbia. Janice has practiced law as in-house counsel, as an associate and partner.
She specializes in family law, wills and estates as well as real estate services.
After a sojourn at UBC, resulting in a BA in philosophy and psychology, Cody graduated from the University of Victoria Faculty of Law in 2014. He then articled with a boutique bankruptcy and insolvency firm in the Lower Mainland and practiced at a small litigation firm in downtown Vancouver. He was admitted to the Law Society of British Columbia in 2016 and joins the team as a bankruptcy, collections and civil litigation lawyer.
Cody maintains a diverse civil litigation practice representing individuals and businesses in litigation and administrative matters. He has appeared before various administrative tribunals, as well as BC Provincial Court, BC Supreme Court and the Tax Court of Canada. Cody maintains his strong interest in bankruptcy and insolvency law, particularly focused on individuals, and small to medium-sized businesses. As part of his bankruptcy and collections practice, he represents and advises debtors, creditors, trustees in bankruptcy, and other stakeholders affected by bankruptcy, restructuring, examination, and realization proceedings, including student loan hardship applications and discharges from bankruptcy.
As a growing part of his practice, he advises employees and employers on employment, human rights, and workplace related matters, as well as assisting strata corporations and owners with strata and condominium disputes and collection matters.
Cody is a member of the Vancouver Insolvency Discussion Group and BC Trial Lawyers Association. He even finds time to be happily married and sit back and enjoy some good craft beer or local wine.
Now also commuting between Pitt Meadows and Langley, Kiran is bringing her vast experience of family law services, which straddle the full spectrum of pre- to post-marriage issues, to GreenWay. After completing her law degree in India in 1996, Kiran moved to Canada and was called to the BC bar in 2015. Kiran has been actively involved in women’s forums and has experience with immigration, refugee and citizenship law, which she offers to individuals seeking assistance with Canadian immigration issues.
